Land Rover Horse of the Year

The annual Land Rover Horse of the Year show is New Zealand's premier equestrian competition, featuring a range of horse and rider combinations from multiple disciplines. With over 1,400 riders and 1,800 horses competing for lucrative titles and prize money, the show is a feature on all equestrian calendars.

The Land Rover Horse of the Year Show attracts over 50,000 spectators each year to Hawke’s Bay and is a ‘must see’ on any event-goer’s calendar. Over 200 retail and trade sites, wine and food villages and a salivating assortment of hospitality experiences alongside top level equestrian competition makes this six day spectacle an event like no other.
