Tikokino Country Hotel
This family friendly cafe, bar and restaurant is the perfect places to stop in for a meal or a drink. Relax in the outdoor garden bar while the children enjoy the playground. Rural hospitality at its best!

Hatuma Café
Just 2km south of Waipukurau you'll find Hatuma Cafe. This wee gem offers a superb menu, and great cabinet food with a good selection of gluten free options. There is a beautiful space out the back to enjoy some country sunshine and a large fully fenced area for kids to play. Plus as an added bonus, you'll find an amazing second hand boutique offering fantastic deals on designer clothes. Coffee and a fashion deal!

The Rookery Coffee House
Located in the heart of Waipukurau you find the Rookery Coffee House, brewing top notch coffee, outstanding sweet treats and fantastic friendly service 6 days a week.

Espresso Loco
Housed in the quaint Railway Station Building, Espresso Loco is a Waipukurau icon and a firm favourite for locals and visitors. Matt brews some fantastic coffee, along with his delicious homemade sandwiches and sweet treats, ice cream and drinks, he’s got your road trip needs covered!

Nola’s Café and Restaurant
In the heart of Waipawa, enjoy delicious meals prepared with love just like Nola used to make. Inspired by fresh ingredients and local produce, along with great coffee and local wines, it’s easy to see why the tables are often full. 

Paper Mulberry Café
Quirky and distinctive, the Paper Mulberry Cafe is one of Hawke's Bay's best secret garden cafes. Enjoy a relaxed atmosphere, delicious treats and wonderful coffee. While you're there peruse the shelves of arts, crafts and yummy things for sale.
